BETRAYAL: Man Nabbed For Handing Over Wife To Ritualists

The Plateau State Police Command has arrested one Maimako Shephang at Kwalla in Quanpan Local Government Council of the state for allegedly luring his wife, Agnes, into the bush and handing her over to two masked men who were alleged to be ritualist.

The Plateau State Police Commissioner, Nasiru Oki, while briefing journalists in his office in Jos, said, “the two masked men asked Agnes whether she was a spinster or not and Agnes told them that the man who handed her over to them was her husband”.

The Plateau State Police boss added that the two men told Agnes to run away from the place since the spiritual sacrifice required a woman or lady who had not known a man.

He said the woman’s husband and one of the suspected ritualists was apprehended by the police adding that investigation was still on and that the suspect would be charged to court for prosecution.

Oki further disclosed that 26 firearms of different sizes, 40 ammunition and 10 cartridges were recovered from hoodlums in the state.
